Application Process: Begin Your Journey to MOMI

Choosing a school is an important decision, and we want the admissions process to be a thoughtful opportunity for your family to get to know Montessori School of Maui.

1. Submit An Online Inquiry

Our admissions process begins with an inquiry and an opportunity to experience our school firsthand. From there, families complete an application and work with our Admissions Office through the remaining steps.

Start by completing our Online Inquiry Form. This allows us to learn a little about your family and share information about upcoming admissions events and next steps.

2. Attend an Open House

Our Open Houses are a wonderful opportunity to experience MOMI firsthand. You’ll learn more about Montessori education, explore our campus, and get to know our community.

Attendance at an Open House or scheduling a campus tour is required before being admitted to fill out an Application.

9 - 11:30am, with on going tours until 11am

3. Submit an Application

After attending an Open House, families may complete our Online Application during the appropriate application window.

Application windows vary by program and are announced each year.

4. Complete the Admissions Process

Once your application has been submitted, the Admissions Office will be in touch with information about the next steps. Depending on the age and program, these may include student assessments, school records, teacher references, and other information to help us understand each child and determine appropriate placement.

5. Enrollment

Enrollment decisions are made as spaces become available. Our admissions process considers each child’s developmental readiness, the needs of the classroom community, and the overall fit between the student, family, and school.

We know that choosing a school is a big decision. Our goal is to make the process clear, thoughtful, and welcoming from the very beginning.

Unable to Attend an Open House?

We understand that schedules don’t always allow families to attend an Open House. If you are unable to attend, please contact our Admissions Office at admissions@momi.org to inquire about scheduling a campus tour.
