HAWAIIAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
In an effort to further reinforce the cultural diversity of our school, the Montessori School of Maui offers a Hawaiian Scholarship Fund, designed to help students who came to us through the Pauahi Keiki Scholarship Program to remain a part of our ‘ohana. Annually, an average of seven or eight young people from the Pauahi Program must leave our school as they reach age six and become ineligible for the scholarship. Our goal is to bring the generosity of interested members of our community together with these families – to allow more of these young people to continue to enjoy the many benefits of an enriching Montessori education.
Each spring, parents of Montessori School of Maui students who are approaching age six who are current receiving support from the Pauahi Program are invited to apply for support from the Hawaiian Scholarship Fund. The Hawaiian Scholarship Fund Committee reviews all application letters and identifies the awardee(s).

Following her wishes, the school established this scholarship fund for children of MOMI alumni in her name, enriching education here on Maui for future generations. The 2019-2020 school year is the first year that MOMI awarded a CWB Fund Scholarship Award.
