Emergency Care Plan
In
the event that a child requires emergency care (illness, injury, etc.) we will
follow this procedure:
1.
A trained
staff member will administer first aid.
2.
Parents
will be contacted by phone,
3.
If
unavailable, we will contact the references listed on the emergency information
card.
4.
If the
emergency references are not available, we will contact the child's referenced
physician, if necessary; we will secure emergency services and/or
transportation as deemed necessary by the staff. The family shall cover any expense incurred.
5. We
may skip any or all of steps 2 – 4 in case of extreme emergency.
