Congratulations Hana and Zoe!
The Artwork by two Montessori School of Maui students, Hana Diller and Zoe Napolitano, was accepted into the Hawaii Convention Center Student Art Exhibit. This exhibit is sponsored by the Dept. of Education and the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) and was open to all schools in Hawaii grades K-6. The theme for this year’s work is “Playing in Hawaii.” Hana’s artwork is titled “Walking My Horse” and Zoe’s artwork is titled “Playing with My Horse.” The artwork will be displayed at the convention center for one year and will be viewed by thousands of visitors to the Convention Center. The girls, along with their art teacher Sandra Guerard, flew to Oahu for the reception and awards ceremony on May 6th.
